The Garden Festival is a wonderful event where the sights, smells, and tastes of nature are experienced. Among other things, you can stroll through the quaint town of Kanapaha, visit the Encanto Garden, and explore the beauty of Chaumont-sur-Loire. You can also check out the Outdoor Escapes, presented by OFF! Repellents, and the Blossoms of Fragrance.
The Encanto Garden is one of the new gardens at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This park, located between Morocco and France pavilions, will be open through May 22.
The garden features lush tropical gardens and artfully jars of vibrant rainforest flowers. You can learn about the biodiversity of the Mexican rainforest while enjoying the colors and scents of these plants.
The garden is part of the Celebrate HER Story program, which celebrates women’s history month. There are two areas where you can enjoy the garden: Vibrante & Verde: An Encanto Garden and La Isla Fresca.
Goodness Garden Butterfly House and Character Topiaries
This year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has plenty to offer. Besides the usual array of gardens and topiaries, there are also outdoor kitchens, special events, and shopping. If you are looking for an experience that you and your family will not soon forget, this is the festival for you.
Among the many things to do at the festival, one of the most popular is visiting the Goodness Garden Butterfly House. This exhibit is a walk through tent that houses hundreds of butterflies. It’s a great way to get a feel for the metamorphosis that happens in a butterfly’s life.
Blossoms of Fragrance
In the world of Epcot, Blossoms of Fragrance is the new kid on the block. This new attraction is a flower-filled garden that’s sure to be a hit with young and old. It features a handful of notable gizmos, like a kaleidoscope of butterflies. The garden also features six topiary-filled stations with the best of the best in the scent and fragrance department.
As the name implies, Blossoms of Fragrance Presented by Scentsy is located at the newly expanded France pavilion. You’ll get your fill of floral and fruity fragrances, as well as a few gimmicks, like a gondola ride and the latest in scent technology.
AdventHealth’s Health Full Trail
Health Full Trail is a fun and interactive way to learn about living well. This EPCOT based activity is a great way to get outside and have some fun while doing it. During this festival, guests can take in a variety of shows and performances and get a chance to try out some of the best new food and drinks around.
A number of activities are available to guests of all ages. Several areas of the park will be open to the public and will feature a wide array of activities to keep everyone from the youngsters to the grandparents happy. The park is also home to several gimmicks, including a large scale flower display, the best way to keep kids entertained and a slew of unique restaurants and eateries.
Outdoor Escapes Presented by OFF! Repellents
The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival kicked off yesterday, and lasts through July 4th, so if you’re going to make the trip, you’re in luck. There are over 20 garden themed zones in the park, ranging from the bamboo-filled chinoiserie of China to the rainforest strewn tropical landscape of Mexico. While you’re there, check out the new narrated movie based off the latest installment in Disney’s animated series, “Cogsworth and Lumiere, A Story About Two Imaginary Adventures,” which is sure to be a family favorite. You can also do some spotting on the newly expanded France pavilion, which boasts some of the best scenery in the park.
Chaumont-sur-Loire International Garden Festival is a six month-long festival of art and horticulture. Aside from a beautiful chateau, the festival is home to some of the most amazing garden displays in France. It is also an opportunity to see the most innovative materials, techniques, and designs.
The International Garden Festival of Chaumont is held at the Domaine du Chateau de Chaumont-sur-Loire in the Loir-et-Cher department of central France. Since 1992, the region has hosted the annual International Garden Festival.
This festival is a display venue for landscape designers, architects, and other artists. It features twenty to thirty show gardens and exhibits. These are displayed in the grounds of the castle. They are illuminated by luminescent spotlights and feature sculptures, photographs, and other works of art.
The Kanapaha Spring Garden Festival is held each year at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, Florida. This horticultural event attracts thousands of spring lovers from around Alachua County. It features 150 vendor booths, an auction, entertainment, and educational exhibits.
There is also a children’s activities area. Kids are invited to participate in various garden crafts, as well as learn about wild animal species from the Lubee Bat Conservancy and the Audubon Society.
Tickets to the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens event are $5 for children aged 3-13. Those who are members of the Botanical Gardens receive a $2 discount.
