The terminal has also upgraded its docks to support the new equipment. These docks have integral generators, which allow the cranes to power themselves for 18 minutes of each working hour. This ensures that the operation is emissions free and that maintenance costs are minimized.
It has four general cargo berths

A new, realigned Container Berth 1 will also increase its berth capacity by 1.4 million TEUs.
Another “big ship” berth at the port is also being upgraded, and will help to support an additional 80,000 container slots when complete. The terminal also has eight acres of paved open storage, as well as breakbulk options for non-containerized shipments.
